Six Flags Fun

Six Flags Fun
by Diane & Stephanie

On the spirit trip to Six Flags that occurred on Friday of the 16th. Eligible students went to Six Flags and came back around 7: 07 due to traffic (yes I did check). There were many rides on Six Flags, sadly we couldn't go to many of them, due to our lack of knowledge of the rides. We first went on Monsoon Falls which was fun, but I felt like I was falling of a cliff. Then we went on the Thrilla Gorilla which goes very fast around circle. Then we went on Monkey Business which is a very extreme teacup ride. We also went on 2 swinging chair rides, the Sky Screamer and another simple one. We went on the ark which sadly did not go around and after that we went on the scat a bout. The scat a bout was fast and was really fun even though it wasn't scary. We also went on the cobra 2 times because it wasn't scary and it was very fast and fun. Plus, the line was very short. We also went on a kiddy ride which we thought would be scary. It was called lookout balloon. Then lastly we went on a bug's bunny ride which only went once. All of the rides were good, besides some were not that cool. I recommend going to Six Flag's Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo.

My Recent Trip to the Philippines

My Recent Trip to the Philippines

by Marielle

So, I went to the Philippines and I had so much fun. I got to meet my old friends and relative.

First,we went to Manoag (church) because my mom wants to visit the the Virgin Mary and thank her for leading us safe to the Philippines.

Then,we went to my grandma's house to visit her because she was now feeling better not before she was so ill, thank god she was now walking! Actually i slept with her because I missed her so much.

After that we went to a wedding, it was actually not boring as I thought it would be, it was so much laughing and it ended like 2 hours I i know crazy right?!

And finally it was time to go.

I already miss the Philippines.

2 out of 7 students aren't exactly sure what it means to be bullied!

Bullying Assembly @ TRP

by Adrianne

informal Bullying Student Survey

4 out of 7 students, have been bullied

2 out of 7 students, don't know (this surprises me a bit)

1 out of 7 students, haven't

So today I just found out we were having an anti bullying assembly on Friday. I gave this a lot of thought and it made me wonder what bullying actually is. Now you may think, "how do you not know what bullying is?" well just think for a moment. There are different kinds of bullying, but what is the general idea of it? How do you even know if they're bullying you? They can be joking around or something, but we don't know that. When thinking about this kinda makes me wonder if I actually have seen someone being bullied. I've been asking a couple random people if they've been bullied and this is what I got.
