2 out of 7 students aren't exactly sure what it means to be bullied!

Bullying Assembly @ TRP

by Adrianne

informal Bullying Student Survey

4 out of 7 students, have been bullied

2 out of 7 students, don't know (this surprises me a bit)

1 out of 7 students, haven't

So today I just found out we were having an anti bullying assembly on Friday. I gave this a lot of thought and it made me wonder what bullying actually is. Now you may think, "how do you not know what bullying is?" well just think for a moment. There are different kinds of bullying, but what is the general idea of it? How do you even know if they're bullying you? They can be joking around or something, but we don't know that. When thinking about this kinda makes me wonder if I actually have seen someone being bullied. I've been asking a couple random people if they've been bullied and this is what I got.

Field Dayyyy!!!!!!

Field Day
By Xandria & Adrianne

So, field day, it can be either be joyful or the worst day of your life. Now I mean falling off a scooter on your face in front of everyone during the race. I can imagine it now, my name on a tombstone, date of death: May 9,2014 and the cause....being drowned by water balloons or something like that. However, it's also pretty fun. In my experience, field day was enjoyable to see people fall on their face. No I'm kidding. Really, it's fun, you get to try all sort of different activities at a short amount of time. Like last year, there were water balloons involved, but I didn't get to try it. During field day, There are two activities one in the gym and then you rotate and transfer outside. So that's field day! Don't die!!

The Carnival Comes to Daly City

The Carnival Comes to Daly City
by Stephanie & Diane

There was a carnival at Daly City on the past 3 days. They usually come every year for 3 days, and usually are packed up with lots of fun, colors, and games. They actually have a new ride that is called the '' Freak Out ''. It was pretty scary and was the most frightening one of all. It seemed like a claw ride and was very colorful. Although there was a new ride, there were also the originals too. The Thriller was very very dizzy. It spins around in a circular form which also holds down the gravitational force, making it very hard to move as it pushes you down. I also remember going on the little candy swinging ride last year. they still had it this year, but even though it was a kiddy ride it was VERY scary for me.
One of the carnival originals was the ferris wheel which was pretty fast. The ride that really creeped me out was the Ring of Fire. It was very scary for my friend who says that she felt like she was going to fall off from the top of ride. For me I did not go this year, but my friend did. It was pretty scary last year and I also got a red snow cone which was very beautiful looking with all the red on the ice. My friend actually got a caramel apple, which I really wanted to taste once in my lifetime. The carnival was very fun and entertaining, I hope you could go to the carnival next year! Bye Bye
